This Beginner 3D Modeling in Blender course is designed for students who want to explore the world of 3D creation without diving into advanced mesh editing or materials. The course starts with an introduction to Blender’s interface, teaching students how to navigate the 3D viewport and use the XYZ gizmo for moving, rotating, and scaling objects. They will then learn essential transformations using both the gizmo and keyboard shortcuts, helping them precisely manipulate objects in 3D space.
As students progress, they will work with multiple objects, learning how to duplicate, group, and parent them for better scene organization. A mini project will reinforce these concepts by guiding them through creating a simple object from multiple shapes. The course then introduces modifiers, with a focus on non-destructive modeling, starting with the Boolean modifier for cutting and merging shapes. Understanding the origin point and object combinations will allow students to create more complex forms.
Students will then explore the Mirror modifier to create symmetrical models, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in their designs. Bevel and Subdivision Surface modifiers will be used to smooth and refine objects, enhancing realism. As the course nears completion, students will adjust object properties, organize scenes using collections, and master viewport controls for a structured workflow.
The final project ties everything together, allowing students to create a polished 3D model using transformations and modifiers. By the end, they will have a solid foundation in Blender, ready to continue their 3D modeling journey.
The course has 10 online lessons with the real teacher. Lessons will run twice a week at 18.10 each Tuesdays and Thursdays started from 29 Apr 2025
