In this dynamic and creative course, students will explore the powerful combination of block-based coding and artificial intelligence to build their own interactive digital projects — from animated stories to smart applications that respond to the real world.

Students will start by designing and programming their own interactive animated stories, using event-based logic, variables, conditions, and loops. With the help of our specialized AI tools, they will generate original characters, backgrounds, and story elements simply by describing them in words. They’ll also compose custom music and even write songs with lyrics, bringing their stories to life with visuals and sound entirely powered by AI.

As students gain confidence in both coding and creative design, they’ll move on to building AI-enhanced interactive applications using live video processing. Using tools like mBlock, students will learn how to:

  • Detect motion and track movement from a webcam
  • Recognize faces and basic emotional expressions
  • Use these real-world inputs to trigger responses in their projects — for example, making characters move when someone waves or smile when a user smiles back

Throughout the course, students will develop an intuitive understanding of how AI sees and interprets the world, while practicing fundamental programming concepts in a highly visual and engaging way.

They will finish the course with one or more unique projects that combine storytelling, animation, AI-generated visuals and music, and real-time interaction, showcasing their imagination, coding skills, and ability to use cutting-edge technology creatively.

As always, each student’s learning path is personalized based on their interests and goals, which are discussed individually during enrollment. This ensures every child is supported, challenged, and inspired at the right pace.

This course is the AI block-based coding, so here are some requirements:

1. You must be confident in using a computer, keyboard and mouse. At the good user level.

2. Know how we save files on a computer, what a file and folders are, etc.

3. You want to program and are not afraid to struggle with the difficulties of learning it.

4. Previous experience with programming is required: it could be block-based coding or text-based coding. Ideally, you are able to make a basic application or simple game in Scratch.
