"Robotics: Block-based Coding, Level 3" is an engaging and hands-on course designed for children aged 8 and above, aiming to deepen their understanding of robotics and coding concepts. This 10-lesson program providing a comprehensive exploration of robotics principles.

Here participants advance their skills by using the front Servo Motor to control a gripper. This step delves into mechanical basics and introduces gripper control algorithms using a servo motor. Hands-on projects involve building the front servo motor as a base for the gripper, programming the robotic gripper, and creating a program for the robotic vehicle to perform movements for object grasping.

Throughout the course, children are encouraged to explore their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork, fostering a dynamic learning environment that makes robotics and coding enjoyable and accessible.

This course has 10 lessons. Classes run from 9.30 to 10.30 every Saturday

This course is ready for 8+ years old. Girls and boys are very welcome!

Use the front Servo Motor to control the gripper

  • Topics:
    • Learn the mechanical basics of the gripper.
    • Learn the gripper control algorithms with a servo motor.
  • Exercise/Project:
    • Build the front servo motor as a base for the gripper.
    • Make a program that controls the Robotic’s gripper.
    • Make a program where the Robotics car performs movement to grasp some object.
    • Make an advanced algorithm for the robotic racing with the target item in the gripper.

This course is Level 3, so here are some requirements:

1. You must be confident in using a computer, keyboard and mouse. At the good user level.
2. Know how we save files on a computer, what a file and folders are, etc.
3. You want to program robots and are not afraid to struggle with the difficulties of learning it.
4. Previous experience with robotics vehicle is good to have. The experience could be with various cars or robotics kits, that could use the block-based coding or text-based coding. Ideally, if you done our course: Robotics. Block-based coding. Level 1 and 2.
